Being Korean myself when I don't feel like cooking this is the place I go to. Starting from the kimchi, which is homemade by the owner's mother, I feel at home whenever I come here. The food is always fresh and tastefully decorated meals are served.
They have affordable set menus and you can choose from a variety of appetizers (like mandou - ravioli with vegetable inside, also homemade) or dak gang jung (chicken with marinated in a delicious sauce). Haemoul Pajeon, a pancake style appetizer is also reccomendable.
As a main dish the traditional Dolsot Bibimbap is a favorite, with Doenjang jjigae or Kimchi jjigae. Also Mandou gook - if you want a stew-version with the ravioli is satisfying.
For the meatlover, the bbq is sure to be your thing. All of the varieties are tasty and well prepared. For drinks a tasty 'bok bun ja' - plum wine is a great choice.
Although the barbeque plates may point to a very casual korean restaurant, the interior has a modern touch and the staff is very attentive and they're very helpful with choosing the right meal for you.
Everytime a pleasure! -
